The Mannheim Dance Academy Premieres a New Choreographic Work by Louiza Avraam

Louiza Avraam was honored to collaborate with the Mannheim Dance Academy in Germany, where she was invited to create a new piece for the talented students of their Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. Working closely with 13 young dancers, she choreographed ‘‘Whispers of the Dreamers’’, set to music by Kid Moxie and Worakls.

The piece premiered on October 6, 2024, at the State Opera of Karlsruhe, as part of the State Ballet of Karlsruhe’s production ‘‘Tanzkraftwerk’’. The premiere was met with resounding success, leaving the audience captivated by the youthful energy and exceptional talent of the dancers, showcased through Louiza Avraam’s dynamic and demanding choreography.

‘‘Whispers of the Dreamers’’ continues to tour across Germany, offering audiences a glimpse into the future of dance through the artistry of the Mannheim Dance Academy students, under the direction of Prof. Agnès Noltenius.
