Special Recognition at the Helena Vaz da Silva European Award to Ioanna Avraam

Ioanna Avraam received Special Recognition at the Helena Vaz da Silva European Award for her outstanding role in raising public awareness about Europe’s cultural heritage. This honor was bestowed by the National Centre for Culture in Portugal in collaboration with Europa Nostra.

The ceremony took place on October 21st at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.

The award was presented by Mr. Guilherme d’Oliveira Martins (Trustee of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation) and Ms. Androulla Vassiliou (Vice-President of Europa Nostra) in the presence of Ms. Maria Calado (President of the Centro Nacional de Cultura and Jury Chair), Dr. Maria de Lurdes Craveiro (Secretary of State for Culture of Portugal), and Mr. António Feijó (President of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation).
